The South Florida Shooting Society (SFSS) was established to bring together a diverse community of firearm enthusiasts across South Florida. Our organization is rooted in the belief that responsible firearm ownership begins with education, safety, and a supportive community. At SFSS, we provide members with opportunities to enhance their skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and participate in engaging and competitive events.

Mike Kneuer, the founder of SFSS, is an NRA-certified instructor with over 20 years of shooting and concealed carry experience. As the owner of Suburban Protector, a firearm education and training company, Mike has dedicated his career to helping suburban men and women defend their lives, their families, and their communities. His expertise and passion for firearm safety and education are the driving forces behind the success and vision of SFSS.

Our aim is to create a space where people of all experience levels—from beginners to seasoned marksmen—can thrive. By offering professional training programs, exciting competitions, and a calendar filled with events, we aim to foster growth and camaraderie among our members. SFSS stands out for its commitment to cultivating an environment that values responsibility, discipline, and mutual respect.
